Some products have the federally allowed amount of THC, which is 0.3% by dry weight. Some products contain no THC. They are all clearly labeled and a certificate of analysis (COA) is sent with every order.
Taking CBD-only products with no THC can sometimes cause the urine to test positive for THC, if the test isn’t sensitive enough to differentiate between CBD and THC. Most high quality lab tests can differentiate between THC and other metabolites, but some people have tested positive for THC, even when they haven’t consumed any, simply because the test isn’t sensitive enough.
Cannabis remains a schedule 1 drug by the FDA, which means it’s federally illegal, but legal in some states. Hemp (cannabis with <0.3% THC) was rescheduled in 2018, making the production, sale, and consumption of CBD and other cannabinoid products legal.
